We are a full-service quilt shop with experienced staff who can help you with all stages of your quilting projects ~ choosing your pattern, selecting fabrics and calculating yardage, deciding what thread and batting to use, even ideas for how to quilt and bind your project.
If you find yourself pressed for time to complete your project (or you love to piece but dread the quilting), let us take your finished top and turn it into a completed quilt! Or if you love to hand quilt but don't like the basting involved, we can machine baste your quilt for you.

Long-Arm Machine Quilting
We can machine-quilt your project on our Gammill machines. Choose from dozens of pantographs (all-over designs), or consult with one of our expert quilters about custom quilting. We have a wide range of thread colors for you to select, including variegated. You supply the backing fabric and batting, or you can purchase from our extensive selection in the store.
When you bring your quilt top in, you can pick your quilting pattern and thread color. We’ll then give you the price and an approximate finished date. If you have a deadline, get your quilt top to us as soon as possible.

[Back to Top]Photo Transfer
The easiest way to transfer your photos to fabric for use in quilts or other projects is to bring them to Quilt 'n Sew. Our photo transfer service offers:
We use 200 thread count Memory Maker muslin by Springs (Creative Products Group), a specialty fabric designed for photo transfer.
You can choose either white muslin, which will give a very true image; or off-white muslin, which will give a more antique appearance to light photos.
Photos can be color, black & white, or sepia.
We can make any color photo into a black & white or sepia-toned photo transfer. There is an additional $1.00 per sheet charge for color change.
We charge by the sheet, which is an 8 ½" X 11" piece of paper. You may place as many photos as will fit on the sheet leaving at least ½" between photos, and at least ½" margin between photos and the edge of the sheet. Cost is $6.50 per sheet.
There is an additional charge of $1.00 per photo for each special service such as reducing or cropping, and additional $2.00 per photo for enlarging.

Equipment Rentals for Class
Did you know we now offer rental of rotary cutting mats and rulers for classes? Price is $3 but supplies are limited so please call 281-398-0670 in advance of your class to reserve.
We also offer sewing machine rentals for classes. Supply is limited so please call 281-398-0670 for reservation.
Binding
Did you know that Quilt 'n Sew offers binding services? We offer half binding or whole binding. For half binding, we machine-stitch the binding around the top of your completed quilt. You then wrap the binding to the quilt back and stitch it in place. For whole binding, we do it all for you.
Cutting and piecing the binding is included in the price - you just supply the fabric!

Love to quilt but hate to baste? Let us take care of the tedious machine basting using our Gammill machines, and you enjoy the fun of quilting!

Yes, you can even arrange for us to trim your quilt. Quilt top, batting, and backing are trimmed evenly after quilting is completed, and your quilt is then ready to be bound.

Quilt 'n Sew is an authorized Janome and Baby Lock dealer. We offer repair and annual maintenance services for Janome, New Home, and Baby Lock sewing machines and sergers. Call us at 281-398-0301 to talk to our sewing machine staff or to schedule an appointment; or just bring your machine in to the store. All machine servicing is done on the premises by our trained personnel.

When you are looking for a notion, pattern, or book and don't find it on our shelves, ask one of our sales associates to place a special order for you. If you are shopping from home, you can e-mail us at orders@quiltnsew.com or call 281-398-0670 during our regular business hours.
Please provide as much information as possible, for example the title and author, so that we can order the correct item. Please allow 2-3 weeks for the item to be received. We will call you when the item comes in, and hold it for you for 2 weeks. This is just another service that we provide to make your quilting experience a success!
