Seen any UFO's lately? You know, those UnFinished Objects. Bring them out into the open and let's party with them! Are you stuck and need some help with a project or some advice on fabric/designs? Let me try to help you. Supper will be provided so that you can just work on them and visit with friends.Please go through your projects to determine what is needed. If ironing is required, bring iron and ironing surface. Typically, you’ll need the sewing machine and its accoutrements, rotary cutting supplies, scissors, pins, thread. I'll have soup, bread, tea, and a dessert. You are welcome to bring goodies to share.
Learn how to go from design to machine using Designer’s Gallery software. In class we will learn how to take a design from a disk to your laptop to your embroidery machine. I’ll also show how to put your design on without the software. We’ll have an overview of stabilizers and our project will be an embroidered kitchen towel.
Open to ages 8 and up, we’ll be making a 9-patch quilt. Practice sewing, learn to sew ¼” seams & to know your machine. We’ll have fun and you’ll have a quilt.

This class will help explain a lot about quilting.A 10-page handout goes home with you loaded with information.Some of the hand-out is covered in class.A demonstration of sandwiching a quilt is included in class.Students will learn the use of the walking foot and seam guide,will practice two designs using the walking foot which allows for even stitching because the machine is in control of the stitching. After mastering the walking-foot technique, class will move on to free motion quilting.Again, two designs will be practiced along with signing your name! Depending on how well the student does, other ideas for quilting designs will be discussed. Former students call this class a great confidence builder!

In this class, you’ll learn the basics of foundation or “paper piecing.” We will make a small wall hanging to cover the essential parts of how to construct a project using the traditional paper-piecing method.

Want to learn to sew on a sewing machine? Then come and learn the basics of a sewing machine and what to look for when buying one. As we move on to the second session, we will sew a pillow case. We will also go over the basic tools needed to start off.

This delightful row quilt is so much fun to make. In each session, we will piece blocks, learn the “soft-touch” method of fusible applique, how to paper-piece a roof, and much, much more. Look for a multi-colored striped fabric, mix in coordinating prints, and you’ll have the right ingredients to make your own Sweet Pea Manor.
