Want to make a stunning quilt with your stash of batiks? Then this is the quilt for you. These 9” paper-pieced pineapple blocks are precise and extra fast when you pre-cut your strips. Choose a solid batik and watch your fabrics come alive. The quilt is then framed by a pieced border, and you won’t believe how easy it is to make. So join us as we create this fabulous quilt for your home.
Join us for an evening of fun as we start to put together this sure-to-be “heirloom quilt.” The best part about this paper-piecing technique is that you are sewing on top of the paper. Bring an assortment of light & dark 4-5” squares. There will be a demo on making the ½” wide vine and fusible & freezer-paper applique. Bring a friend or two to share in this fun-filled evening. A meal will be provided but bring your own favorite snacks and drinks!
This delightful row quilt is so much fun to make. In each session, we will piece blocks, learn the “soft-touch” method of fusible applique, how to paper-piece a roof, and much, much more. Look for a multi-colored striped fabric, mix in coordinating prints, and you’ll have the right ingredients to make your own Sweet Pea Manor.
Sewing machine required.
